The 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback is a shining example of Detroit Deluxe’s creativity and style. The car features top-end performance aftermarket parts and accessories, including a Procharger Supercharged Ford Boss 302 Coyote engine hooked up to a Tremec® 6-speed manual transmission. Inside you’ll find a full custom leather and suede interior designed by Detroit Interior Works, air conditioning by Restomod Air, Dakota Digital gauges, and a top-of-the-line sound system featuring RetroSound and Alpine components installed by Car Tunes of Redford, MI.

“This fastback is what every hot rod loving man, woman, and child dreams of,” said Jim Jackson, Co-Owner of Detroit Deluxe. “It’s hard not to smile every time it fires up.”

The Detroit Deluxe team utilized a complete suspension from Detroit Speed, Baer® Brakes, and Forgeline wheels wrapped in Continental Tires to “get that power to the ground and go” said Steve Schardt, Forgeline Sales Manager.

Not to be overshadowed, the 1958 Chevrolet Apache is a real head turner. Detroit Deluxe has made quite a name for themselves with their classic truck customizations.

This build resonates with the person who has a classic style, but enjoys the convenience of a modern car and appreciates high-end materials and craftsmanship. It suits the person who wants to stand out in a crowd… the guy who wants to break necks every time he rolls by,” said Paul Elizondo, Co-Owner, Detroit Deluxe.

The expertly surfaced body is finished in custom Pearl Root Beer Brown using BASF R-M paint materials. High-end details abound, including a custom wood bed floor handcrafted by Detroit Deluxe, 20in. Detroit Steel Wheels and Continental Tires.

It’s always exciting to have our product on these great SEMA cars. The color-matched wheels to the Root Beer body is awesome. This is a great example of how a well-executed build is not defined by the wheels it’s wearing, but more of an organic part of the project,” said Adam Genei, Owner, Mobsteel.

The truck rides on a custom chassis highlighted by a RideTech Air Ride system, and is powered by a GM 5.3 liter LS engine. Inside you’ll find custom leather interior by Classic 9 and Detroit Interior Works. The tilt Ididit column, Dakota Digital gauges, Restomod Air climate control system, and Retrosound and Alpine stereo equipment complete the interior package.
